We are looking for a Full-Stack engineer who is extremely experienced in Typescript, ambitious and hardworking. Bequest will continue to grow rapidly and we want our core members to grow with us. This is a startup, the asymmetric risk here should be attractive to you.You will thrive at Bequest if you can own problems end-to-end, and are willing to pick up knowledge you're missing to get the job done. Starting salary is 80k USD/year, starting equity is 0.25%.Key Responsibilities:
Frontend: Design and build complex web apps using React, design libraries (like Chakra UI) and state management tools (like Redux or Context)
Backend: Use Typescript, Node and NestJS/Express to build a REST API
Database: Design database schemas using Prisma and PostgresQLRequired Qualifications:
Proficient in English
Deep understanding of Typescript (We use it everywhere!)
3+ years designing and developing Frontend applications using React
3+ years developing Backend APIs using NodeJS (We use NestJS)
Experience using SQL databases and designing schemas
Familiarity with Docker
Built production-grade apps with a high bar of quality
Strong problem solving skills, high agency and resourcefulNice to Have:
