Job Description: About the Role:In this entry-level Sales Development Representative role, you will identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources - including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery, and individual research. You will also be responsible for generating leads for the existing sales team with extended duties - including handling client support requests, prospecting, and qualifying new sales leads. You will also hunt whitespace for new logos. You will report to the Executive Director of Sales and Business Development, Latin America.About the Team:OPIS, a Dow Jones company, provides price transparency across the global fuel supply chain, including the Spot, Wholesale Rack and Retail markets. Navigating world fuel markets is complex – OPIS makes it simpler.You Will:Become familiar with the OPIS/Chemical Market Analytics/McCloskey product portfoliosBe the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forwardCreate outreach strategies for new lead generation methodsSupport sales colleagues on outbound strategies and lead-generating effortsEstablish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openingsCollaborate with sales teams by creating innovative lead-generation ideasAssist sales colleagues with responding to client support requestsTrack all client interactions in Salesforce and provide Salesforce reporting metrics to sales leadersProvide internal and external clients with timely assistance as required to help build and cultivate prospect relationships in order to move opportunities through the sales funnelHelp drive leads and online traffic with web-based activities and programs in partnership with the Marketing functionYou Have:English (verbal and written) proficiency - REQUIREDAbility to travel occasionally for conferences/exhibitions (~10% to 15%)Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word, TeamsExperience using SalesForce and/or LinkedIn Sales Navigator (or other similar prospecting applications)Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related technical field -OR- equivalent work experienceOur BenefitsComprehensive Healthcare PlansPaid Time OffLifestyle programs & Wellness ResourcesEmployee Referral ProgramLearn more about our Brazil benefits#LI-RemoteThis is a remote position.About Our Organization:Dow Jones is a global provider of news and business information, delivering content to consumers and organizations around the world across multiple formats, including print, digital, mobile and live events.
