Senior Risk Management Specialist
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our risk management efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and implementing comprehensive risk management frameworks.
This includes assessing, monitoring, and mitigating various types of risks such as credit, market, liquidity, operational, and technology risks. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting stress testing, scenario analysis, capital adequacy evaluations, and regulatory disclosures.
The Senior Risk Management Specialist will oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and controls to ensure effective risk management practices.
* Developing and maintaining a robust risk management framework that aligns with regulatory requirements;
* Conducting regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks;
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives;
* Maintaining accurate records of risk management activities and compliance;
* Providing training and guidance to team members on risk management best practices;
* Liaising with external auditors, regulators, and governance committees to ensure regulatory compliance;
* Continuously monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of risk management strategies and making recommendations for improvement;
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of risk management principles, regulations, and industry standards. You should also possess excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
A degree in a related field such as finance, accounting, or economics is preferred. Relevant certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or FRM are an added advantage.
