Job Title: JDE Specialist
Job Description:
The role of the JDE Specialist involves designing and implementing enhancements, reports, and interfaces programs using the JD Edwards developer toolkit. This position serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) resource for JD Edwards Enterprise One, supporting processes and implementing improvements.
The JDE Specialist ensures appropriate controls are in place and integrates data for decision makers and business owners to support IT, Compliance, project, and vendor management activities. The specialist will focus on global systems implementation initially in LatAm and UK/EMEA regions.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as a subject matter expert developer for JD Edwards Enterprise One associated with functionality, content, processes, and procedures.
* Gather business requirements and implement a global standard design for the Global Systems Implementation of JDE enhancements, reports, and interfaces with other applications.
* Assist with the design and implementation of operational and system enhancements to ensure production capabilities are both effective and efficient.
* Ensure JDE development deliverables are completed on time and bug-free.
* Analyze business needs, create functional and technical designs, develop programs, and perform testing to ensure quality of deliverables.
* Ensure JDE programs are compliant with IT policy and build plans to enforce compliance with IT policy and standard user management processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Technical experience of JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.1 or higher, including application configuration and development.
* Experience with JDE Localization implementations, preferably for LatAm countries.
* Strong financial applications analysis and issue resolution skills.
* Experience working with fellow team members and third-party vendors to integrate with SaaS solutions.
* Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and project management methodologies.
* Financial & Business acumen and awareness of management and analysis processes.
* Strong PC skills, including experience using MS Office Products, especially Excel.
* Excellent organization skills, verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience working in large enterprises with domestic and international locations.
* Experience working with off-shore or remote development/support teams.
* Advanced language skills in English.
