About the Role
As a Business Analyst in data and digital transformation, you will play a pivotal role in connecting business goals with technical solutions, shaping how teams leverage data and integrations across the organization. You’ll influence the design of processes, pipelines, and analytics, driving efficiency and insight while collaborating with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment. What You Will Do
Partner with stakeholders across departments to capture and validate business needs
Translate business concepts into structured technical requirements, use cases, and user stories
Define data and integration requirements in collaboration with architects
Map current‑and‑future‑state processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency
Maintain a clear traceability matrix linking business requests to delivered functionality
Work with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to clarify metric definitions, data transformations, and aggregation rules
Support efforts to standardize KPIs and enable self‑service analytics using BI tools
Validate data outputs and ensure alignment with business definitions and governance standards
Collaborate with data governance leadership to ensure quality, compliance, and consistent usage of data assets
Assist in the design and implementation of new data pipelines, APIs, and system integrations across cloud environments
Partner with architects to document data lineage, source‑to‑target mappings, and system dependencies
Analyze and communicate technical constraints, data availability, and system impacts to business sponsors
Coordinate with engineering teams to perform user acceptance testing and validate results
Must Haves
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, or Product Owner in data, IT, or digital transformation contexts
Strong ability to bridge business language and technical concepts
Knowledge of data systems, BPMN tools (e.g., Camunda), and integration frameworks (e.g., Boomi, APIs)
Strong understanding of AWS core services, including EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, CloudFormation, API Gateway, and RDS
Experience writing detailed functional specifications, user stories, process diagrams, and acceptance criteria
Understanding of data modeling concepts, ETL pipelines, and BI/reporting workflows
Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Collaborative approach in team settings spanning technical and business disciplines
Experience in hospitality, travel, or luxury retail industries
Familiarity with Scrum/Agile practices, Jira/Confluence, and data catalog systems
