Life Science Content Acquisition Role
The Acquisition Editor is a crucial position responsible for sourcing and recruiting new authors and content for our Journal. As an expert in the field, you will be tasked with identifying and guiding prospective authors through the manuscript submission process.
* Identify and recruit new authors to contribute to our Journal, ensuring high-quality submissions that meet our editorial standards.
* Collaborate with Guest Editors to develop and curate content for special issues, driving engagement and growth within our community.
* Build and maintain a network of scientists and journal authors to facilitate content acquisition and increase submission rates.
* Work closely with our peer review team to streamline the publication process, ensuring timely and efficient dissemination of research findings.
* Meet or exceed monthly acquisition targets, demonstrating your ability to drive results-oriented initiatives.
Requirements:
* A Ph.D. in Life Sciences or a related field, providing a strong foundation for your work as an Acquisition Editor.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with authors, editors, and other stakeholders.
* Results-driven approach, combined with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, making you a valuable asset to our team.
