Role: Backend Developer (Kotlin + Spring Boot)Location: Argentina / Brazil (Remote)Employment Type: Long-Term ContractAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled API Developer with expertise in Kotlin and Spring Boot to design, build, and maintain scalable APIs powering our solution. You will collaborate closely with the front-end team and other stakeholders to deliver robust and secure back-end services.Key Responsibilities- Design and develop APIs using Kotlin + Spring Boot- Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of services- Integrate with databases, third-party services, and cloud infrastructure- Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize services- Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver solutions incrementallyMust-Have Skills- Hands-on experience with Kotlin and Spring Boot (4–5 years)- Strong understanding of REST API design principles- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases- Proficiency with unit testing and API documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI)Nice-to-Have Skills- Experience deploying APIs on Azure Web Apps and Kubernetes- Knowledge of OAuth2 / JWT authentication- Familiarity with microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
