Role Overview
We are looking for an Email & SMS Lifecycle Growth Marketing Manager who is entrepreneurial and can strategize and execute like a growth hacker, analyze performance like a scientist, and operate with the urgency and ownership of a founder. This is a high impact role for someone who wants real responsibility inside a scaling ecommerce brand.
Your primary focus will be email marketing, SMS lifecycle marketing, conversion copywriting, SEO, and PR, with the goal of increasing revenue, retention, and customer lifetime value. You will own Klaviyo and Attentive execution, including campaign planning, lifecycle calendar management, automated flows, segmentation, A B testing, deliverability optimization, and performance reporting. You will also support SEO initiatives across the site and blog, and help drive PR outreach and placements to increase visibility and credibility.
Beyond lifecycle, you will support broader digital growth initiatives across the business, including website optimization, CRO testing, funnel improvements, content coordination, competitor research, and supporting other revenue channels as needed.
You will work under the Marketing Director and collaborate with creative, design, and paid teams. While email and SMS are your main ownership, you are expected to step in and help strategize and execute across Meta and TikTok ads, TikTok Shop, Amazon, Google, and any other marketing channel that impacts revenue. This role offers the opportunity to expand your full stack digital marketing skill set, take ownership of high impact revenue channels, and grow into a key driver of performance inside a fast scaling ecommerce brand.
Core Focus Areas
1. Email & SMS Lifecycle Revenue. Primary Ownership
You own strategy, execution, testing, and performance inside Klaviyo and Attentive or similar platforms.
Responsibilities include:

Build, optimize, and continuously improve all automated flows
Welcome, post purchase, abandoned cart, browse, winback, upsell, cross sell, review, loyalty, and retention journeys
Own and manage the lifecycle marketing calendar, planned at least 3 months in advance
Execute weekly campaigns aligned with product launches, promotions, and revenue goals
Increase revenue per subscriber and customer lifetime value
Write and test high converting subject lines, hooks, and offers
A B test copy, timing, segmentation, creative, and messaging
Improve personalization and customer journeys
Maintain list health, compliance, and strong deliverability with primary inbox placement
Analyze performance, document learnings, and implement structured testing roadmaps
Identify lifecycle gaps and build new revenue generating flows
Support B2B and wholesale email communications

You are accountable for lifecycle revenue performance.
2. Conversion Copywriting, SEO, and PR
You are the primary copywriter for the business and support traffic growth.
Responsibilities include:

High converting email and SMS copy
Website, landing page, and product page optimization
Blog content designed to rank, drive qualified traffic, and convert
Keyword research focused on high intent and low competition opportunities
On page SEO, internal linking, and content structure improvements
Ensure content is optimized for both traditional search and AI discoverability
Track rankings, traffic quality, and revenue contribution from content
Drive PR outreach, placements, and brand visibility initiatives
Write B2B, wholesale, and partnership communications
Guide designers and creatives on messaging hierarchy and conversion structure

Content must generate measurable traffic and revenue, not just output.
3. Growth Support and Channel Strategy
While lifecycle is your core ownership, you support broader revenue initiatives.
Responsibilities include:

Help strategize and iterate paid media messaging and funnel alignment for Meta and TikTok
Support TikTok Shop, Amazon, Google, and other ecommerce channels with content and optimization
Identify CRO opportunities, funnel drop off points, and UX messaging improvements
Conduct competitor and market research and translate insights into action
Document tests, results, and performance insights across channels
Raise performance risks and propose revenue focused solutions
Step in on new marketing initiatives as needed

If something impacts revenue, you pay attention to it.
4. Team Performance and Accountability
Responsibilities include:

Help uphold company culture, performance standards, and ownership mindset
Provide feedback to designers, coordinators, and contributors on messaging and results
Ensure campaigns, content, and flows are improving in performance over time
Track KPIs and hold yourself and the team accountable to growth targets

KPIs and Accountability
Your performance will be measured by:

Email and SMS revenue growth and contribution margin
Revenue per subscriber and list growth quality
Flow performance and lifecycle conversion rate improvements
Open rate, click rate, and conversion rate trends
Deliverability and list health metrics
A B testing velocity and documented learnings
SEO traffic growth, keyword rankings, and revenue from content
PR placements and referral impact
Contribution to overall ecommerce conversion rate and retention

You must be data driven and comfortable working inside dashboards and translating insights into action.
Compensation and Growth
This is a remote international role with compensation based on experience and proven performance.
Your compensation will grow as you increase lifecycle revenue, improve performance metrics, and expand your impact across channels. High performers will receive increasing ownership, performance based bonuses, and long term growth opportunities inside the marketing team.
