About the Role
The HR Specialist plays a key role in managing the full employee lifecycle for Employer of Record (EOR) clients and employees across multiple countries. This includes onboarding, responding to employment-related inquiries, ensuring compliance, and overseeing offboarding procedures.
The position requires continuous collaboration with internal teams, clients, and external partners to deliver seamless HR operations while maintaining compliance with local, national, and international employment laws.
As a subject matter expert in global HR operations, the HR Specialist leads complex cases, drives compliance initiatives, and supports the training and development of new team members. This role partners closely with leadership and clients to deliver strategic HR solutions across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full employee lifecycle for EOR employees, including onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding in assigned countries.
Respond to client and employee inquiries through the ticketing system; participate in meetings and handle escalations as needed.
Monitor updates to local employment laws and ensure alignment with global HR compliance standards.
Maintain accurate and compliant employee records while safeguarding HRIS data integrity.
Prepare employment contracts, addendums, new hire guidelines, and other HR documentation with accuracy and compliance.
Review, update, and apply company policies to align with local regulations and best practices.
Guide clients and internal teams on statutory leave requirements and country-specific HR practices.
Manage voluntary terminations and support involuntary termination processes, collaborating with local counsel when required.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance HR operations and service delivery.
Work closely with partners, in‑country providers, account managers, payroll teams, and the legal team to ensure integrated and compliant operations.
Support additional HR‑related tasks and special projects as assigned. Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills
Strong understanding of global HR practices and international employment law compliance.
Excellent communication skills with cultural awareness and sensitivity.
Familiarity with GDPR and global labor standards.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
Proficiency with HRIS systems, Salesforce, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong problem‑solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset. Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
HR certification preferred (e.g., SHRM‑CP, PHR).
3+ years of HR experience, preferably within a global or EOR environment.
Knowledge of international employment laws and compliance requirements.
Experience working directly with clients and managing escalations.
