Job Description:
The primary objective of this role is to provide support for the validation of commodities asset class onboarding to an equity derivatives trading desk.
Key Responsibilities include resolving daily front office issues related to functional, valuation, and pricing. This involves addressing daily FO Equity Derivatives desk issues and collaborating with EQD Desk Traders to resolve L3 issues.
Additionally, this role entails amending front office pre-trade rules, eTradePad simulations, and market data. It also involves analyzing, formulating, proposing, developing, and contributing to overall solutions as per PROD Support deliverables.
Furthermore, liaising with technical teams to resolve FO-related issues and necessary enhancements is a crucial aspect of this position. Managing day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables is also required.
Some of the key responsibilities include yield curve issue resolution, curve assignments, and new curve creation. Continuous follow-up of new Market regulations/practices globally is also necessary.
This role requires performing various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participating in formal release cycles. Developing FO Business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs as they come along is also essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong product knowledge in EQD, COM.
* Very strong understanding of FX, IRD business.
* Very strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle.
* Strong experience in supporting FO users and resolving their daily issues.
* 5+ years of experience with Murex FO functionalities.
* 4+ years of experience in financial markets roles.
* SQL proficiency.
