About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including urban renewal, regeneration, and transition to climate neutrality. As an Urban and Regional Development Expert, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and guidance to stakeholders, developing innovative solutions to complex problems, and contributing to the creation of sustainable and inclusive communities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategies for urban and regional development, taking into account local context and stakeholder needs.
* Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices and innovative approaches to address urban challenges.
* Provide technical assistance and guidance to stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community groups.
* Collaborate with colleagues and partners to develop and implement projects that promote sustainable urban development.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as urban planning, regional development, or a related field.
* At least 10 years of professional experience in the field of regional and urban development, including experience working with EU, EIB, WB, etc.-financed projects.
* Excellent command of English (CEFR C1).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
