OverviewProject Coordinator. The mission of our Project Coordinator Academy is to identify early talent and develop you to become Fortrea’s leaders of the future. The PC Academy prepares entry-level Project Coordinators to take on critical client-facing tasks as co-pilots to PMs, enabling them to build client trust and support successful project delivery. Through training, mentorship, tool mastery, and structured accountability, PCs gain the expertise and professionalism needed to interact effectively with clients and take ownership of client deliverables. This approach develops a pipeline of skilled, client-focused PCs who are well-prepared to transition into client-facing leadership roles, ultimately strengthening client relationships and enhancing clinical study outcomes.
Location and Job GradeLocation: Remotely located in Brazil.Job Grade: The present vacancy is a PC 1 level: job grade U3-1. This means salary & benefits will be aligned according to that grade.

ResponsibilitiesOn day-to-day, learn to use the main industry tools and Project Management Systems (e.g., CTMS, Veeva, and Project management dashboards) to support overall project health and client-facing deliverables. Become a subject matter expert to support the study team.Collaborate cross-functionally to oversee timelines and milestones in appropriate systems. May include working in systems such as CTMS, project governance tools, and other trackers.Work with Functional Leads and lead when required:– Support development of project plans and coordinating review, feedback, and execution between study team and client. Be the POC for the client.– Co-lead study financial updates with the Project Lead to support project financial health including payments where appropriate – attend and support financial review meetings.– Prepare for audits and/or investigations, including responding to audit findings/CAPAs, creation of storyboards to document issues that may occur during the study.– Facilitate and support sections of external meetings with clients.– Review progress of projects and initiate appropriate actions to achieve target objectives.– Deputize for the project lead when required.
QualificationsYou bring a university/college degree (life science suggested), or certification in a related allied health profession (i.e., nursing, medical or laboratory technology) from an appropriately accredited institution is highly desirable.You have 1-2 years of relevant Clinical research experience in pharmaceutical, CRO industries or experience in a health care setting. Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.Client-facing experience preferred – additional training will be provided.This is a truly global team, so excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English is a must.
