International Trade Operations Coordinator

As an Import and Export Analyst, you will be responsible for managing import and export activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and streamlining logistics processes to support business growth.

This role involves coordinating import and export operations for both intercompany and third-party transactions, including temporary admissions, new product launches, reverse logistics, and special shipments.
\
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to manage and interpret large data sets. Excellent organizational and communication skills are also essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Power Automate) is mandatory.
\
Familiarity with ERP Global Trade Management systems (SAP-GTS, HANA, e-Comex) is an advantage. Fluency in English and Portuguese is required. Spanish proficiency will be considered a strong differentiator.

In this role, you will work closely with regulatory authorities such as ANVISA, MAPA, Brazilian Customs, and INMETRO. You will also provide assistance to finance, accounting, and other internal departments. The position requires at least 4 years of experience in foreign trade and logistics operations.

A Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of local regulations governing import and export activities is also required. Background in medical devices, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical industries is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate import and export operations for both intercompany and third-party transactions, including temporary admissions, new product launches, reverse logistics, and special shipments.
* Ensure efficient supply chain management in alignment with contracted services and regulatory frameworks.
* Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as brokers, freight forwarders, transport companies, and bonded warehouses to mitigate risks and resolve operational challenges.
* Monitor and ensure compliance with trade regulations, company policies, and best practices.
* Maintain up-to-date import/export documentation and support inbound/outbound shipment requirements.
* Review and approve trade-related financial transactions.
* Support trade and financial audits as required.
* Develop and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance decision-making and optimize processes.
* Utilize business intelligence tools to improve data analysis and reporting.
* Drive process improvements through innovative technology solutions and automation.
