Responsibility Statements Guides strategic sourcing and category management for clients' organization spend. Obtains approval of the category sourcing plan (with project prioritization/phasing/savings). Integrates client stakeholders as part of the sourcing process using a tollgate procedure. Gathers, cleanses, classifies, examines, and interprets client spend. Leads the process of renewing, extending, terminating, and renegotiating contracts. Develops an implementation plan for buying channel optimization of spend for the category. Authorizes full responsibility for enabling hosted and punch-out catalogs. Drives transactional automation. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards.
