**What you’ll do**:
Job summary
This position provides Compensation support to all Eaton business groups and functions in Central and South America, with a population of approximately 4,500 employees across 10 countries. This specialist role acts as a strategic compensation partner to the HR Managers and HRBP to manage SCA compensation in support of performance management, act as a liaison with the Compensation Function and ensure the integrity of compensation practices across SCA to attract, motivate and retain top talent.
Job responsibilities
1. Lead the Function in the design, implementation and management of the compensation strategy, philosophy, programs, policies and initiatives that competitively position Eaton SCA, and are aligned with the strategy, priorities, business model and culture.
2. Act as business partner, strategic solution provider, counselor for SCA HR Business Leaders and WHQ Compensation function representing the Region.
3. Develop scenarios to adapt compensation design/approach to align with market trends
4. Develop programs to educate HR, leaders and managers on Compensation programs to reinforce the organization's culture and compensation principles
5. Partner with the businesses to ensure coordination, alignment and proactive compensation issues management
6. Lead the evaluation of jobs and alignment to existing Global Job Level structures
7. Ensure that compensation plans comply with legal and other regulations and develop processes and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
8. Proactively manage relevant vendors, auditors, and consultants
9. Ongoing analysis and evaluation of services, coverage, and options available to ensure programs best meet the needs of the organization.
10. Partners with rest of HR organization to implement standardized global HR processes
**11. Responsible for managing country processes such as**: annual market survey, salary ranges review, sales incentives, recognition programs such as e-star, international and national mobility, variable payment plan, EIC, compensation and severance policies.
