About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Support Engineer with strong expertise in Java, SQL, Unix/Linux, and AWS. The professional will be responsible for supporting and troubleshooting critical cloud-based applications, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance in a large-scale enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide end-to-end support for cloud applications, ensuring stability, scalability, and security;
• Perform troubleshooting and debugging of AWS-based applications;
• Monitor and analyze incidents, identifying patterns, root causes, and long-term solutions;
• Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders, clearly articulating technical and functional aspects of production issues;
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and support automation initiatives;
• Contribute to DevOps practices, including CI/CD and operational improvements;
• Administer Unix/Linux systems, leveraging scripting for automation (Shell or Python);
• Manage AWS services, including IAM, Lambda, ECS, S3, VPC, Security, Load Balancing, Monitoring & Audit.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills):
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field;
• 6–9 years of experience in a Cloud Support Engineer role;
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure;
• Advanced expertise with Unix/Linux operating systems, commands, and utilities;
• Hands-on experience with Java and SQL in enterprise environments;
• Practical experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code);
• Scripting skills in Shell or Python;
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and functional issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
• Experience in the Financial Services Industry;
• Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer);
• Background in large-scale, mission-critical environments.
