This ideal candidate will partner with Sales Managers to discover the client's needs, discuss our solutions, capabilities and business value with the client. The ideal candidate should be able to clearly articulate highly technical concepts to all prospective clients.

Description Summary:

The Sales Engineer will be the technical liaison and key advisor working closely with the team’s sales managers and network operations to ensure Chinese customer requirements are met during the pre-sales phase. Pre-sales activity includes but is not limited to, support in contract bids and network solution design. The SE is also recognized as the product advocate, assisting in streamlining support processes of CTB products and services.


Major Tasks & Responsibilities:

* Serve as a primary technical liaison for sales managers, customers, pricing team, project managers and Network Operations.
* CNE Sales Engineer will provide ICT overall solutions for overseas central enterprises, industry customers, and MNC customers.
* Present the technical design/RFP in a complete and well-illustrated fashion to the appropriate sales representatives and/or customer
* Keep the sales force appraised of technical updates, and similarly keep the network group and product development teams aware of forthcoming technical requirements
* Conduct product and resource check with China Telecom Provincial organization as well as CT Headquarters
* Provider technical support of ICT projects, the ability to deeply explore customer needs, guide demand indicators, and write project proposals based on product advantages.


Essential Skills, Qualifications and Education Needed:

* Excellent interpersonal and professional communications skills; verbally, written, face-to-face and over the phone in both Mandarin and Portuguese.
* 3 years of experience with related sales support in telecom or WAN management
* Global telecommunications experience is preferred
* Current telecommunication and technical data services background, experience with general IP products and services, such as IP Access, MPLS, VPN and IT Security for Enterprise
* Passion to learn and understand the business needs, non-functional needs, process needs and industry data models of partners and customers.
* Familiar with mainstream servers, network equipment, security equipment, CCTV, AP,
* Effective presentation skills
* Professional verbal and written communication skills within all corporate levels
* Experience with responding to emails and RFP’s
* Ability to work within small teams as needed based on the sales opportunity
* Customer-focused and result-oriented
* Estimate 35% of travel requirement both domestic and international.
* Flexibility to work seamlessly with global sales team in different time zones
* Work authorization for Brazil required
