The successful Sales Engineer will serve as a technical sales expert, providing guidance and support to customers throughout the sales process.
This involves managing the technical sales process primarily during the discovery and validation stages of the sales cycle, with a focus on positioning technical solutions that deliver real business value to our clients.
Able to tailor demonstrations to align with the customer's specific needs, you will build Proof of Value (PoV) plans that validate the solution is strongly aligned with the customer's requirements and delivers quantifiable business value.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Partner with Account Executives and Channel Account Managers to develop and execute effective sales strategies
 * Deliver tailored technical sales presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers and partners
 * Plan and execute Proof of Value (PoV) activities, including scoping, designing, installing, and configuring Absolute Secure Access and Secure Endpoint products
 * Communicate feature requests and product ideas into product management, backed by data from sales engagements
Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential skills and experience include:
 * Complex technical sales cycles, deep discovery, and scoping, executing, and presenting complex Proof of Value (evaluations)
 * Effective communication of technical concepts to all levels of people, from IT managers to CIOs
 * Understanding of data-in-transit security, network services, and systems, including routing and local and wide area network design
 * Understanding of authentication methods and protocols, AV, EDR, Incident Response, Forensics, or other endpoint or network security tools
 * Familiarity with popular firewall vendors and basic rule design, endpoint security, and patch management policies, Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems, and network stacks
