About the Opportunity
This prestigious fellowship offers a chance to conduct research under the supervision of a faculty member. The successful candidate will receive a stipend and work with their supervisor to develop a research proposal, Thesis Committee Form, and signed degree plan.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with your research supervisor for this award.
* Submit a completed research proposal, Thesis Committee Form and a signed degree plan before the end of the first semester.
* Present a research progress report before the end of the second semester and every semester thereafter.
* Attend mandatory orientation and other professional development events announced by the institution.
Qualifications
* Meet all requirements for UTRGV Assistantships.
* Enroll in required coursework as soon as possible to ensure timely processing of the scholarship.
* Maintain a minimum overall GPA of 3.30 at all times.
* F1 visa holders are required to pay for health insurance. This fee is not covered by the fellowship.
