ServiceNow Developer Position Overview
This is a high-level ServiceNow Developer position opening.
* We are looking for an experienced IT service management and platform administration expert to support and enhance our ServiceNow environment.
* The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of ITSM processes, CMDB, Discovery, Integrations, and related modules.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain ITSM workflows and modules using ServiceNow scripting and APIs.
2. Perform various tasks as part of platform administration including user management, roles, permissions, and security configurations.
3. Assist in integrations, customizations, and testing activities as needed.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and developers to deliver solutions and meet customer needs.
5. Participate in system testing and deployment activities ensuring seamless integration and best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
6. Ensure that all development and configuration efforts follow established documentation guidelines and best practices.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues and provide necessary support.
Required Experience & Skills:
* At least 3 years of experience in developing applications on the ServiceNow platform with an emphasis on ITSM processes.
* Proven expertise in platform administration and configuration along with experience in managing and implementing ITIL compliant processes.
* Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS, REST/SOAP integrations, and ServiceNow scripting is highly preferred.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices along with strong problem-solving skills is essential.
