Modirum | Gespi is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to lead our network infrastructure operations. This role is critical to supporting our expanding operations across multiple environments, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure that enables business growth and operational excellence. You will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure and coordinating with IT and Information Security teams
Your Role in the Team:
As IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of our infrastructure systems. You will:
Lead and manage network infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance (switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs)
Oversee data center and server room facilities management, including power, cooling, and environmental controls
Manage physical access control systems and coordinate with Information Security on security implementations
Design and implement network segmentation, VLANs, and security zones to support business and security requirements
Coordinate IT upgrades, maintenance, and infrastructure projects
Manage cabling infrastructure and ensure proper documentation of network topology
Ensure redundancy and disaster recovery infrastructure capabilities
Lead vendor relationships for infrastructure maintenance and projects
Collaborate closely with IT and Information Security teams on infrastructure requirements
Manage infrastructure budget and resource planning
Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements
Support manufacturing operations with specialized network and facility requirements
Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation and procedures
Plan and execute infrastructure migrations and technology refreshes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of experience in network infrastructure management and design
Strong expertise in enterprise networking (TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, VLANs)
Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation)
Proven experience managing data center facilities and infrastructure
Knowledge of physical access control systems
Experience with network monitoring and management tools
Strong project management and team leadership skills
Experience managing vendor relationships and infrastructure contracts
Understanding of manufacturing network requirements and industrial protocols is a plus
Bonus Points:
Network certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent)
Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance requirements (ISO 27001)
Experience supporting manufacturing environments and industrial networks
Familiarity with SCADA systems and industrial networking protocols
Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2)
Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting
