About the role: We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Director/Controllerto work with an iGaming Operator. You will be tasked with managing the financial health by ensuring accurate accounting practices, delivering insightful P&L analysis, and spearheading FP&A activities. You will partner with executive leadership to develop strategies that support business growth and financial efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Financial Reporting: - Oversee all accounting operations to ensure accounting standards - Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L reports. - Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): - Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process. - Develop and maintain financial models to assess performance, support business planning, and evaluate investment opportunities. - Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on detailed financial analysis. Cash Flow & Risk Management: - Monitor cash flow, manage working capital - Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard the company’s financial stability. Internal Controls & Process Improvement: - Oversee and enhance internal controls, ensuring robust financial processes. - Drive continuous improvements in financial reporting systems and operational efficiency. Team Leadership & Collaboration: - Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to build a high-performing department. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial goals and overall business strategy. - Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as required. Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years in a senior financial role, with a strong background in accounting, P&L management, and FP&A. - Demonstrated expertise in cryptocurrency accounting. - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable. - Exceptional analytical skills with experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting. - Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting systems. - Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with executive management and cross-functional teams. - A detail-oriented, proactive approach with a commitment to continuous improvement. - Experience in gambling or digital media industry is a plus, but not required.
