We have an open position for a Senior Data Engineer for our client’s Technology team. Great opportunity to join an impactful Sustainability & ESG startup.
Main Activities:
* Maintain and evolve data pipelines, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
* Work closely with the business to translate problems into analytical solutions with defined outcomes.
* Perform in‑depth data analysis using SQL and other exploratory tools on platforms such as Postgres and BigQuery.
* Propose solutions to business requirements, offering multiple implementation options.
* Write scripts to validate loaded data.
* Act as a mentor to the team, actively collaborating, teaching, and contributing to the technical development and growth of the group.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience with Python.
* Experience with Spark.
* Strong experience writing SQL and working with data‑manipulation practices on platforms such as Postgres and BigQuery.
* Knowledge of distributed computing and data‑engineering practices, including architecture and handling large volumes of data.
* Experience developing and optimizing ETL pipelines, including validation scripts and anomaly detection.
* Excellent analytical skills to solve complex problems and ensure data quality.
* Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and convey technical concepts.
