Enterprise Data Architect
We are seeking a skilled data architect to design and implement data acquisition and ETL processes in Microsoft Azure.
* Our ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly with Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL Database. They should also be proficient in SQL and have strong ETL development skills.
o
+ Developing and optimizing SQL stored procedures, scheduled jobs, and views in Azure SQL Database
+ Building and maintaining ETL pipelines in Azure Data Factory
+ Applying data governance and quality checks to ensure dataset accuracy and consistency
+ Collaborating with technical staff and SMEs to document sources, transformations, and dependencies
+ Supporting Power BI developers by delivering clean, structured datasets
Required skills include:
o Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, SQL Database)
o Advanced SQL (stored procedures, scheduled jobs, indexing, views)
o Proven ETL development experience (batch + scheduled pipelines)
o Solid understanding of data governance, lineage, and quality frameworks
o Familiarity with Power BI data models (not visualization)
Nice-to-have skills include:
o Hands-on experience with Alteryx for data preparation
o Prior exposure to healthcare IT data (helpful but not required)
