About the Role:
We seek an experienced Lead Data Engineer to design, develop and lead delivery of enterprise-grade data integration and analytics solutions.
* Deep expertise in Oracle performance tuning and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Technical decision-making, mentor team members and collaborate with DBAs and business stakeholders to deliver high-performance, scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Optimize query and database performance to meet strict SLAs (<2 seconds).
* Analyze execution plans and recommend indexing, partitioning and optimization strategies.
* Partner with DBAs to validate and implement tuning recommendations.
* Oversee ETL/ELT workflows ensuring scalability efficiency and data quality.
* Leverage AWS services (S3 Redshift Glue Lambda DMS) for ingestion transformation and storage.
* Lead and mentor team fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
* Translate technical decisions into clear explanations for both technical and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
* 7+ years of experience in data engineering within enterprise-scale environments.
* Expertise in Oracle performance tuning including query optimization execution plans indexes partitioning and parallelism.
* Hands-on experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
* Expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
* Experience in data warehouse design ETL/ELT processes and data modeling.
* Proven leadership experience including team mentoring and technical guidance.
* Excellent communication skills ability to collaborate effectively with DBAs technical teams and business stakeholders.
* Fluent in English.
Nice to Have:
* Hands-on experience with AWS data services (S3 Redshift Glue Lambda DMS).
* Prior experience in Wealth Management.
