EOS Linux Server Manager Job Description
We are seeking experienced professionals with extensive expertise in Linux and Unix, and public Cloud, to support our Professional Services.
* Participate in major incident handling, troubleshoot service request failures, downtime extensions, long-running ongoing incidents for a customer.
* Provide quick responses during escalations, take proactive steps to avoid escalations, identify and drive initiatives to improve the operation and stability of our customer system.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive initiatives to standardize and simplify server operations.
* Implement continuous improvement methodologies: root cause analysis for Service requests failures/outages, performance issues.
* Analyze root causes of failures (if known) in achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and define a corrective action plan, with well-defined mitigation steps.
* Coordinate and orchestrate work between various teams, collaborating with other units within and outside Enterprise Cloud Service units.
