About The Role
The Content Producer will be responsible for producing SportyNet’s live and recorded programming, coordinating editorial and operational workflows, and ensuring seamless execution of the channel’s daily content. This professional will manage the full production cycle of live shows, match broadcasts, interviews, and news segments, working closely with hosts, commentators, pundits, and reporters. The role also involves preparing scripts and rundowns, scheduling interviews, supporting talent needs, coordinating with designers and editors, and guaranteeing that all commercial and promotional elements are delivered on time. The Content Producer is a central pillar of the content operation, ensuring every output reflects SportyNet’s editorial identity, quality, and mission.
What You'll Be Doing
Live Shows & Daily Production Management
Produce and coordinate live studio shows, ensuring smooth editorial and technical execution
Prepare and update scripts, rundowns, talking points, segment structures, and editorial briefs
Support hosts, commentators, and pundits by providing research, key information, stats, and show preparation
Coordinate communication between editorial, technical, and studio teams during live broadcasts
Ensure all show elements including videos, graphics, inserts, interview clips, are prepared and delivered to MCR and control rooms
Match Broadcast Production
Produce and oversee live game broadcasts, managing content flow, pre‑game, halftime, and post‑game segments
Align with commentators, analysts, and production teams to ensure editorial consistency
Coordinate incoming feeds, highlights, stats, and relevant assets for match coverage
Ensure timing, transitions, and all on‑air elements match the broadcast plan
Interviews, Reporting & News Coverage
Schedule and coordinate interviews with athletes, coaches, guests, partners, and special contributors
Support reporters with editorial preparation, angles, questionnaires, and rundown structures
Monitor breaking news and update editorial teams to adjust scripts and show segments as needed
Prepare and update daily news briefs, reports, and content summaries
Cross‑Team Collaboration & Content Delivery
Work closely with designers, motion artists, and video editors to ensure graphics, packages, and videos are delivered on time
Coordinate with digital teams to share assets, clips, and extended content for online platforms
Ensure commercial inserts, sponsorships, and branded content segments are included according to schedules and guidelines
Align with programming and operations to guarantee proper ingest, timing, and delivery of all content
Guest, Talent & Stakeholder Coordination
Manage schedules, logistics, and briefings for on‑air guests and contributors
Support on‑air talent with editorial preparation, content research, and production needs
Serve as an operational and editorial point of contact for stakeholders involved in daily content
Operational Workflow & Quality Control
Organize production documents, show archives, and content databases
Ensure adherence to editorial guidelines, rights restrictions, and channel standards
Identify workflow improvements and support the establishment of production best practices
Track deliverables, cross‑check details, and ensure all content meets quality requirements
What You'll Bring
Degree in Journalism, Communications, Audiovisual Production, Broadcasting, or related fields
Proven experience in content production for TV, live shows, sports media, or digital platforms
Familiarity with live broadcast environments, studio production, and match coverage
Experience working with on‑air talent, editorial teams, and technical crews
Ability to prepare scripts, rundowns, and editorial briefs
Understanding of studio production workflows, live broadcast dynamics, and content ingest processes
Familiarity with editing tools, graphic workflows, and asset management systems
Knowledge of content rights, usage guidelines, and commercial deliverables
Intermediate English for communication with international partners, guests, and content providers
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly during live situations
Editorial creativity, proactive mindset, and strong sense of responsibility
Calm, solution‑oriented approach when working under pressure
