About the RoleWe’re building a talent pool for Senior Android Engineers. This pipeline role is for engineers with strong experience, skilled in building high-performance, scalable mobile systems, and following best practices for architecture, performance, and maintainability.What You’ll Do- Build and maintain high-performance, scalable Android applications.- Design app architecture, implement best practices for performance, memory optimization, and offline workflows.- Integrate Android platform features, including push notifications, secure storage, sensors, and background services.- Collaborate with backend, product, and QA teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.- Contribute to technical decisions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of Android development practices.What We’re Looking For- 7+ years of professional Android development experience.- Deep expertise in Kotlin and modern Android development practices.- Proven ability to deliver high-quality code within project timelines.- Experience with Jetpack libraries (Compose, Navigation, Room, LiveData, WorkManager).- Familiarity with testing frameworks for Android (Espresso, JUnit, UI Automator).- Knowledge of app distribution, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes for Google Play.Nice To Have- Experience with cross-platform mobile development (React Native, Flutter) or multi-module Android projects.- Hands-on experience with GraphQL, REST APIs, or secure API integrations.Why Join Kake?Kake is a remote-first company with a global community — fully believing that it’s not where your table is, but what you bring to the table that matters.
