About the Team:
As part of the Networking team within our Cloud Infrastructure organization, you will help own and operate our production network infrastructure. This group is responsible for designing, building, and managing the software and solutions that connect our users and services globally.
Key areas of responsibility include:
* Traffic proxy and load balancing
* Service mesh
* VPC/backbone and cross-region connectivity
* Network monitoring
* Network security systems
Our focus is on reliability, scalability, efficiency, and high availability for users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with internal engineering and security teams as well as external partners to deliver security systems that protect our services.
* Develop and maintain operational tools for managing production networks.
* Support network changes and daily operations for developers and new product launches.
Qualifications:
* Strong expertise in virtual network architecture using public cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, including knowledge of their network service offerings (e.g., VPC, Security Groups, PrivateLink).
* Experience operating large-scale networking systems and software (such as edge proxies, DNS, CDN, network gateways). Familiarity with Kubernetes and Envoy is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively within teams and across engineering and security organizations.
* A passion for efficiency, high availability, and delivering top-tier technical solutions.
