Senior Health Informatics Leader
The Chief of Party will oversee the implementation of a comprehensive health information system in Madagascar, ensuring seamless integration and interoperability among various stakeholders. This key position requires an individual with extensive experience in managing large-scale projects, building strategic partnerships, and fostering effective communication among diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical direction and guidance for project activities, ensuring they are technically sound, responsive, and relevant to the program's objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with USAID, the Government of Madagascar, and other local partners, facilitating smooth collaboration and coordination.
- Oversee the work of technical and program management staff, promoting strong communication and teamwork among team members.
- Lead the development of annual work plans and budgets, ensuring timely submission and approval by the client, while delivering expected results on schedule and within budget.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a related field, such as public health, information systems, or health informatics.
- At least 10 years of experience in leading and managing operational, project management, and administrative duties for USAID-funded projects or similar internationally funded programs.
- Significant professional experience in fields related to the project's objectives, including national health information systems development, digital health strategy implementation, and data management and use.
- Proven ability to build and manage effective partnerships and communicate a common vision among diverse partners to achieve mutual goals.
