The Regional Security Advisor, Latin America is responsible for supporting and enhancing the company's security posture across the Latin America region. This role ensures the safety and protection of our associates, assets, and operations while advancing global security strategies and ensuring adherence to global security standards and best practices. The Advisor will work closely with regional business leaders, cross-functional partners, and the Global Security team to assess risk and provide expert guidance in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. What You'll Do: Security Risk Management Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify threats and vulnerabilities and recommend risk mitigation strategies for staff, travelers, facilities, and assets across the regional footprint Support crisis management preparedness and business continuity initiatives, including emergency planning, training, and after-action reviews Analyze and advise on emerging and ongoing risks with the potential to impact company operations in the region Respond to and manage security incidents, ensuring timely communication and escalation to the Director, Global Security & Investigations Conduct investigations, implement travel security risk mitigation programs for visiting associates, and support executive protection functions as required Security Operations Implement global security policies, procedures, and processes aligned with Global Security guidance and industry best practices and tailored to the security risk environments at each location where the company operates in the region Partner with Global Security Operations Support Team to advance enterprise-level system, service, and resource standardization initiatives. On pace with the maturation of the Global Security program, provide guidance and supervision to associates tasked with security management responsibilities at the company's manufacturing plants and other facilities throughout the region. Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the principal security advisor and subject matter expert to facility-, country-, and regional-level leadership teams Routinely partner with HR, Legal, and Compliance & Ethics teams to ensure integrated and multidisciplinary Corporate support to decision makers Develop and maintain a strong liaison network with host country government agencies and the wider public/private multinational security management community Program Development & Training Assist in the development and implementation of regional training programs, to include security awareness, workplace violence, and travel security Support vendor management, to include maintaining a trusted network of security service providers and consultants What We're Looking For: A Bachelors degree or equivalent in an area of study relevant to success in the job functions described above is required A minimum of 7-10 years of security management experience (preferably in Latin America). What Will Set You Apart: A Masters degree is preferred but candidates may demonstrate 10 years' security leadership experience in lieu of a Masters degree CPP, PSP, PSI or equivalent certifications are a plus Security management responsibility for an environment outside of one's home country/country of primary residence is required Prior experience working within a large, multinational company or public/government sector equivalent is required. Manufacturing sector experience is preferred.
