The Mission
Stabilize and optimize a production Drupal site on Azure Web Apps facing deployment failures and performance bottlenecks. Partner with their Senior Drupal dev to own all Azure infrastructure + Dev Ops. Immediate impact required, no ramp-up time.
Experience Needed
5+ years Azure infrastructure/Dev Ops
2+ years production Azure Web App Services hosting high-traffic Drupal CMS (100k+ users)
Proven track record of blue-green deployments rescuing troubled web applications Must-Have Skills
Production Azure Web Apps (Bitbucket syncs, Oryx builds, deployment slots)
Drupal operations (drush rsync, updb/cim against production DBs)
Azure Database management (snapshots, point-in-time restores)
Performance optimization (maintenance mode, Redis cache management)
Blue-green deployment execution (smoke tests, log analysis, zero-downtime swaps) Bonus Points
Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204)
Drupal/Drush hands-on (config management, module deployments)
