Job Overview
The Advanced Diesel Technician independently performs advanced diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment.

You’ll Focus On
Performing advanced diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and AMS products.
Participating in Service EDUCATE Training programs.
Mentoring Service Technician Trainees.
Supporting customer clinics.
Maintaining knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
Maintaining vehicle, inventory, tools, and equipment condition.
Ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Following safety rules and regulations.
Forklift experience and license preferred.
Completing reports and forms related to work performed.
Managing time and materials used.
Working regular Service Department hours with reliable attendance.
Qualifications
Associates degree with 5+ years of experience in service repairs.
Ability to perform advanced repairs using specialized tools following Technical Manual procedures.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency with diagnostic vehicles and equipment.
Familiarity with Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
Advanced Diesel Service Technician education preferred.
Ability to maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
Valid driver’s license required.
Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Work hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (off-season), seasonal extended hours, and on-call duties.
Compensation & Benefits
$26-$40+/hr depending on experience, plus a sign-on bonus up to $5,000.
