Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled IT Desktop Support Technician with 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support. The candidate will be responsible for providing onsite technical support, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations while maintaining compliance with security standards.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
* Provide onsite IT infrastructure and desk-side support to end users
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and OS-related issues
* Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
* Perform desktop imaging and application installation/support
* Resolve Outlook-related issues and manage email configurations
* Handle printer troubleshooting and conference room IT setups
Networking & Systems
* Basic support for LAN/WAN environments
* Work with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP
* Troubleshoot network connectivity and cabling issues
* Support virtualization and enterprise environments (basic level)
Smart Hands Support
* Provide hands-on support for IT and network equipment including:
* Routers, switches, firewalls
* Racks, cabinets, patch panels
* End-user devices and peripherals
Incident & Problem Management
* Manage and resolve tickets using tools like ServiceNow/Remedy
* Perform repeat call analysis and implement preventive solutions
* Ensure timely resolution within SLA timelines
* Document issues, solutions, and processes
Technical Requirements
* 3–5 years of experience in IT desktop/field support
* Strong troubleshooting skills (hardware, software, OS)
* Experience in PC break/fix and desk-side support
* Knowledge of Windows OS (mandatory);
Mac/Linux (preferred)
* Experience with desktop imaging tools
* Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.)
* Understanding of enterprise networking basics
Preferred Qualifications
* Associate Degree in Electronics or related field
* CompTIA A+ Certification
* OEM certifications (Dell, Lenovo, Toshiba, etc.)
