Job Summary: Software Release Manager II Position Description
The Software Release Manager II will plan, coordinate, ensure timely notifications are sent, and schedule software releases to align with organizational strategy and goals. This role works closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure quality and timeliness of releases. The position monitors progress during release windows, identifies areas for improvement through testing feedback. It develops reports and metrics to communicate release performance to leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, coordinate communication regarding schedule facilitation (cascading deadlines& timelines),
2. Collaborate effectively among dev., QA Ops teams responsible overall readiness/governance,
3. Track continuously update updates –refining ‘after-action-reports’, ensuring leadership aware risks escalation ongoing issues requring coordination,
