Senior FullStack Developer
This is a critical position for our team in Portugal, requiring relocation.
We're launching a new partnership with a valued client in the fintech sector and expanding our team to support this exciting collaboration. Our client is a financial sciences company that combines data analysis, innovation, and rigorous inquiry to solve complex challenges in investment management, insurance technology, securities, private equity, and venture capital.
The platform is a portfolio analytics tool used by asset owners, asset managers, and advisors. The available tools help investors perform factor-based risk analysis to inform manager due diligence, investment evaluation, and portfolio construction.
We are seeking an experienced, full-stack Software Engineer to lead the development of the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create, design, build and deploy a SaaS product end-to-end using an agile approach, from conceptualization through rigorous testing, and partnering with client teams to ensure exceptional UX
2. Conduct front-end web development using React, TypeScript, CSS, and other technologies
3. Design and develop APIs in Java, leveraging cloud, microservices, and caching
4. Become a domain expert and trusted advisor in full-stack software engineering
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and experience with version control systems like Git is essential. Knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud platforms is a plus.
