About this Role
We're seeking a skilled project manager to lead a fast-paced automotive UX study in São Paulo.
* This 3-month contract involves orchestrating day-to-day study operations, assisting in moderating in-vehicle research sessions with local drivers, and providing technical support to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management & Coordination
* Develop and own the project plan, working closely with the Ops Manager and UX Research Lead to set timelines, budget, and participant milestones.
* Lead stand-ups with distributed teammates (US, Brazil, India).
* Field & Research Execution
* Moderate in-vehicle sessions in São Paulo, guiding participants through tasks and capturing high-quality data.
* Translate consent forms, short surveys, and session notes between Portuguese and English.
* Technical & Logistics Support
* Prepare, track, and recover equipment used to execute the study.
* Troubleshoot participant hardware, connectivity, and account issues; escalate edge-case bugs to engineering via JIRA.
* Document and iterate on SOPs, and data ingestion for future Brazil-based studies.
Requirements:
* Language: Native-level Portuguese and professional-level English (spoken & written).
* Experience: 3+ years in project coordination, research operations, UX research, or similar.
* Comfort level: Diagnosing common hardware / connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, Android / iOS devices, Bluetooth peripherals).
* Tools: Google Workspace, project-management suite (Asana / JIRA), basic spreadsheets; willingness to learn our proprietary research platform.
* Soft Skills: Exceptional organization, proactive communication, unflappable in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
Bonus Requirements:
* Prior automotive or in-vehicle research experience.
* Prior team management or project coordination experience.
Contract Details:
* Term: 3 months (July – September 2025), ~40 hrs/week.
* Hybrid: Remote most days; up to 2 weeks of on-site fieldwork.
* Compensation: Competitive monthly contractor rate in BRL, based on experience.
Career Path: Strong performance may lead to an offer for a permanent role on the UX Operations team.
