3D Visualisation Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled 3D designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in high-definition, commercial-style 3D visualizations, and image compositing. They will be responsible for generating stunning, hyper-realistic 3D visuals, clean motion assets, and sophisticated compositing work.
About the Role:
* Develop high-end, hyper-realistic product scenes, including advanced image compositing, from various reference materials.
* Create professional 3D product animations, such as product rotations, camera moves, and simple showcases.
* Help us set new standards for modeling, texturing, lighting of products, with an absolute dedication to visual authenticity.
* Accurately translate design concepts into detailed 3D models.
* Develop high-resolution final images and video assets of rendered content.
* Succinctly balance and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
* Work with varied project briefs, collaborate with graphic designers, and support the wider creative team.
* Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, adapting to distinct visual approaches required for various brands.
Requirements:
* Mandatory: Expert proficiency in Cinema 4D.
* Experience with Octane Render is highly preferred.
* Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in commercial-style 3D visualizations, image compositing, and 3D animation.
* Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
* 4+ years' experience as a 3D designer, preferably in a graphic/animation studio, advertising agency, or in-house creative department.
* Proactive interest in emerging 3D technologies and willingness to explore AI-powered tools to optimise workflows and push creative boundaries.
* Capable of assessing a brief and determining the most effective execution strategy.
* Educated to degree level in Design or a related subject.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Proficient in modeling and texturing, creating stunning life-like visual assets of packaging, single products, and detailed marketing scenes.
* Expertise in lighting setup, colour, and shading, with a keen focus on optimal product presentation to achieve visual authenticity.
* Sophisticated understanding of materials and ability to view products from a customer's perspective.
* Highly skilled with Adobe Photoshop and knowledgeable about the broader Adobe Creative Suite.
* Effective planning, prioritising, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
