Financial Planning Solutions Designer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled professional to design and implement financial planning solutions using IBM Planning Analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement financial planning solutions for clients in the US & Canada.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, business and technical project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
* Develop and maintain high standards of professional communication.
* Identify project risks and assumptions, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
* Communicate project plans and progress to stakeholders, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
* Participate in post-implementation reviews to identify areas for improvement and optimize future projects.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in delivering financial planning applications, with expertise in IBM Planning Analytics/TM1.
* Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, including budgeting and forecasting.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
* Proven project management skills, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with excellent relationship management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
The following qualifications would be advantageous:
* IBM Cognos TM1 Certified Developer certification.
* Background in finance, with experience in supply chain roles or similar.
* Strong relationship management skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
