Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Engineer to join our team in developing the core intelligence behind a cutting-edge research platform. This role requires deep expertise in information retrieval, scalable backend systems, and generative AI.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in semantic search, vector databases, LLM frameworks, agent-based systems, and document retrieval. They will be skilled in Python for backend development with the ability to build scalable APIs and services.
Experience in deploying systems at scale, including search engines, retrieval pipelines, or embedding models, is essential. The ability to design infrastructure that serves hundreds of concurrent requests and experience setting up and hosting APIs with public access while balancing speed, cost, and reliability are also required.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership. The successful candidate will move fast, experiment, and ship production systems that impact thousands of researchers worldwide.
