Reporting to the Head of IT, the IT Support Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining IT systems and providing support to all corporate group users. This position involves managing IT assets, coordinating with third-party vendors, and supporting both internal and production IT system planning. Responsibilities: - Troubleshooting hardware/software faults and system/network issues. - Monitoring and maintaining computer systems, servers, and networks. - Assisting users through onboarding/offboarding processes and resolving technical issues in person or over the phone. - Supporting general IT infrastructure maintenance and replacing hardware components as needed. - Coordinating with the team leader for timely issue resolution and working on tasks until completion (or escalating to third parties when necessary). - Building strong working relationships with users, IT engineers, department managers, software developers, and HR. - Managing IT assets, including tagging hardware, procurement, and accurate inventory maintenance. Skills & Experience: - Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365 Cloud Services, and Windows 10/11. - Hands-on experience with Windows Servers 2016, 2019, and 2022. - Technical knowledge of enterprise IT equipment and Microsoft technologies. - Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - A team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Spanish, Dutch, or German) is an advantage. - At least 1 year of experience in an IT environment, with relevant qualifications or a diploma in IT.
