Role Description:
As a contributing member of our project, you will be responsible for recording your day-to-day work as a mechanic. This documentation will aid in the development of an AI research project focused on common lives.
Key responsibilities include wearing a head-mounted camera to capture daily activities for five separate days within a two-week window. You will need to record a minimum of seven hours per day, with flexibility to take breaks and pause the camera for privacy. At the end of each day, you will spend approximately two hours reviewing footage, uploading clips to a secure platform, choosing to delete, anonymize, or consent to each video segment.
Requirements
* No children under 18 present or visiting during the recording period.
* All adults in the space must be fluent English speakers and consent to being recorded.
* The workspace must be a private, self-contained apartment, building, or indoor environment.
* All household members must agree to appear in the footage.
* You must work indoors in non-customer-facing roles, such as manual or creative work.
* Participants sharing the same workplace or household should both have a camera mounted during the activity.
* Preferably engaged in manual or creative work, such as chef, baker, artist, carpenter, musician, electrician, or mechanic.
* Must be self-employed or have employer consent to record in the work environment.
* Able to use a computer for basic tasks like reviewing and uploading video clips.
Technical Requirements
* Access to a computer and internet connection.
* Comfortable using web-based tools for uploading and reviewing clips (training provided).
* Camera and all accessories will be provided for the duration of the project.
