Media Buyer & Ad Operations Success Manager (Remote)

Headquartered in Canada with a strong presence in the APAC region, we are seeking a dynamic Media Buyer & Ad Operations Success Manager to join our high-performing team and help publishers thrive in the digital advertising ecosystem.


Job Overview

We are looking for a candidate skilled in both programmatic/media buying and ad tech operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the success of our advertising campaigns by optimizing media investments, managing ad tech infrastructure, and driving performance through data-driven strategies.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in media buying (paid social, programmatic, search, or video) and a deep understanding of ad serving, tracking, and troubleshooting campaigns. You will bridge media execution and technical ad operations, ensuring seamless campaign delivery and maximizing ROI.


Key Responsibilities

* Media Buying & Optimization:
o Plan, execute, and optimize performance-driven media buys across platforms (Meta, Google, DSPs, etc.)
o Manage budgets, bids, and targeting strategies to maximize campaign performance
o Conduct A/B testing, audience segmentation, and funnel optimization
* Ad Operations & Technical Management:
o Oversee ad trafficking, tag implementation (Google Tag Manager, pixels, etc.), and QA
o Troubleshoot discrepancies in delivery, tracking, or attribution
o Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues
* Performance Analysis & Reporting:
o Monitor KPIs (CTR, CPA, ROAS) and provide actionable insights
o Generate reports and present findings to stakeholders
o Ensure alignment between media spend and business objectives
* Client & Stakeholder Success:
o Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams or clients on best practices
o Proactively identify opportunities for campaign improvement


What We're Looking For

* Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
* Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with digital advertising tools and platforms like Google Ad Manager, WordPress, GAM 360, traffic acquisition tools such as Active Campaign, and header bidding solutions
* Problem-Solving Skills: Resourceful in troubleshooting errors and finding effective solutions
* Attention to Detail: Precision in campaign setup, ad tag implementation, and publisher configurations
* Communication Skills: Ability to convey technical details and results clearly to stakeholders
* Client-Centric Mindset: Focus on understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions
* Knowledge of Ad Metrics: Understanding of CPM, CPC, CTR, RPM, and ad yield optimization strategies
* Strategic Thinking: Ability to align short-term actions with long-term goals and scale performance
* Sales Acumen: Skills to pitch ad solutions, negotiate deals, and close partnerships
* Results-Oriented: Drive to achieve and exceed KPIs and revenue targets
* Negotiation Skills: Confidence in negotiating with clients, vendors, and partners
* Resilience: Ability to handle challenges while maintaining motivation
* Data Visualization: Skills to create impactful reports and dashboards
