As Ascent Cloud's Director of Sales, you would be responsible for managing your team of Account Executives to:
* Achieve their assigned quotas as well as a team quota.
* Prospect using our Ideal Customer Profile and buying personas.
* Grow New/Upsell ARR pipeline and accurately forecast Opportunities in Salesforce.
* Develop AE prospecting and selling skills through consistent coaching.
This includes leading 1-on-1 meetings with Account Executives on a regular basis, reviewing and maintaining team cadences (call/email/social templates), and working with your manager to maintain and update the Ascent Cloud Sales Playbook.
These responsibilities are in addition to your primary responsibility of helping Ascent Cloud achieve its sales targets.
Primary Responsibilities (80% of Time)
* Help Sales Team Prospect into Territory and Focus List Accounts
* Grow Top-Line Revenue by Closing Large, Multi-Year Contracts
* Be Personally Involved with "Take Me to Your Leader" Visits for Large Deals
* Enforce Pricing and Contract Policies
* Travel into Territory with assigned AEs
* Qualify Pipeline for Your Team's Assigned Accounts to Achieve High Close Ratios
Additional Responsibilities (20% of Time)
* Lead Regular 1-on-1s with Account Executives
* Participate in Regular Messaging Meetings with Marketing and SDR Teams
* Review and Maintain Team Call/Email/Social Cadences/Templates
* Review and Maintain Messaging and Elevator Pitches for Sales Team
* Review and Maintain the Ascent Cloud Sales Playbook
