Job Opportunity: Power BI Developer
We are seeking an accomplished Power BI Developer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and implementing business intelligence solutions using Power BI Desktop and Service.
About the Role:
* You will work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable insights, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality dashboards and reports.
* Your primary focus will be on data modeling, transformation, and DAX scripting to create complex calculations and ensure the accuracy and reliability of Power BI solutions.
* In addition, you will maintain data security, governance, and compliance within BI solutions, as well as provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to business users.
Requirements:
* A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
* Proven experience as a Power BI Developer (3+ years preferred) with expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX.
* Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, relational databases, SQL, and querying large datasets.
* Additionally, experience integrating Power BI with multiple data sources (Excel, SQL Server, Azure, APIs, etc.) is essential.
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills are also crucial.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of Azure Data services (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks) is a plus.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is also an advantage.
