You’ll work alongside collaborative, detail-oriented, and forward-thinking teammates.You'll ensure the highest levels of quality and safety for our projects, making a meaningful impact on their successful delivery. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as project management, industrial quality, and supplier quality), act as the key interface with customers for quality-related activities, and much more.You’ll specifically take care of monitoring and executing the Project Quality Plan, as well as ensuring proper validation and documentation of quality processes, but also support warranty activities and contribute to safety case reviews.We’ll look to you for:Ensuring the high level of quality and safety of projects, and monitoring the execution of the Project Quality PlanControlling the Project Quality Work Package, with regular updatesSupporting the Project Manager with Development for Quality preparation and related activitiesRepresenting the Quality System in activities such as internal and external auditsActing as the interface between Alstom and customers for quality-related activitiesApplying problem-solving methodologies and ensuring proper progress on project open pointsSupporting warranty activities during the warranty phaseEnsuring the right configuration is applied and supporting teams involved with changesCoordinating the project quality community and ensuring lessons learned (REX) are incorporatedAll about youWe value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or related fields)Master’s degree in Quality or related fields (preferred)Internal auditor certification (preferred)Knowledge of railway safety (preferred)Experience or understanding of quality tools such as 8D, QRQC, Control Plan, PFMEA, DFQ, Ishikawa, Pareto, Factor Tree Analysis, 5 Whys, 5SKnowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO TS 22163) and standard quality KPIsMinimum of 3 years of industrial quality activities experience in the railway industry (preferred)Fluency in Portuguese and English; advanced Spanish skillsAvailability for international travel and prior experience with international missionsThings you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career.
