Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Operational Strategy: Develop and execute operational strategies that align with the overall
business objectives and contribute to the growth and profitability of the eCommerce
logistics venture.
• Supply Chain Management: Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, including
inventory management, order fulfillment, vendor relationships, and logistics to ensure
timely delivery and efficient stock levels.
• Order Processing and Fulfillment: Monitor and improve order processing workflows to
ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment, shipment, and delivery to customers.
• Capex Planning: Understand the long-term business growth and plan for the required
expansions to improve business efficiency and improve Opex (Automation and High Budget
Capex Planning experience preferred) and to be done with Investment rationale and ROI in
mind.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze key operational metrics and KPIs to identify areas for
improvement, cost reduction, and process optimization.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as marketing,
finance, and IT to ensure alignment and seamless coordination across the organization.
• Technology and Systems: Liase with the system team for the implementation and
optimization of systems and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and customer
experience.
• Risk Management: Identify potential operational risks and develop contingency plans to
mitigate them effectively.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of operations professionals, fostering a
positive and productive work environment.
• Compliance and Regulations: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, policies, and
industry standards related to eCommerce operations.
Position Requirement
Skills & Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management,
Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree may be preferred.
2. Experience: Significant experience in eCommerce operations, supply chain management,
or a related field, with at least 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience and
managing a PNL or cost center.
3. Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of eCommerce industry trends, best practices,
and emerging technologies.
4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and
make informed decisions.
5. Leadership Abilities: Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating teams to
achieve operational excellence.
6. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate
effectively with various stakeholders.
7. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving eCommerce
environment
