API Engineering Role
We are seeking an experienced API Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Achieve API excellence by leveraging design-first principles, ensuring scalability, security, and consumer-centricity.
* Design and develop APIs using OpenAPI, SwaggerHub, or similar tools, adhering to customer standards and architectural guidelines.
* Configure and manage APIs using Azure API Management, incorporating security standards, documentation excellence, and testing proficiency.
* Collaborate with API consumers during integration testing to resolve issues and provide guidance on proper usage.
Skill Set:
* Proficient in API design first expertise, leveraging OpenAPI, SwaggerHub, or similar tools.
* Detailed knowledge of Azure API Management and security standards, including OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
* Strong documentation skills, creating developer-friendly content and API identity cards.
* Familiarity with API testing frameworks and methodologies, ensuring functionality and performance validation.
