THE TEAM As part of the Executive Committee, the Finance Division plays a fundamental role in ensuring the long‑term sustainability and performance of the Hotel and its Residences. You will lead a high‑performing team encompassing Procurement, Controllership, Financial Operations, and Payroll, working closely with the Managing Director, Ownership, and Corporate Office to ensure financial integrity, operational discipline, and sustainable growth. YOUR ROLE The Director of Finance provides financial leadership to the Hotel and Residences, ensuring the achievement of profit, cash flow, and key performance objectives while maintaining a strong internal control environment. This role takes a long‑term, strategic view of the business — identifying opportunities, mitigating risk, and supporting sound decision‑making across all divisions. As a trusted advisor to the Managing Director and ownership, you will translate financial insight into actionable strategies that strengthen the property’s competitive advantage. HOW YOU'LL MAKE THE PLACE Strategic Financial Leadership Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the hotel’s vision and ownership objectives. Lead the Business Plan and CAPEX planning processes, ensuring accurate forecasting, robust analysis, and alignment with corporate expectations. Safeguard the financial health of the Hotel and Residences by optimizing cash flow, monitoring working capital, and ensuring sound investment decisions. Provide strategic insight to the Managing Director and Executive Committee, translating financial data into actionable business decisions. Maintain strong and transparent relationships with Ownership, ensuring trust, clarity, and alignment. Governance & Controls Ensure a robust internal control environment across accounting systems and operational processes. Guarantee compliance with local regulations, hospitality laws, and Rosewood corporate policies. Oversee the Operation Management Review (OMR) process and drive follow‑up actions to strengthen financial performance and operational discipline. Maintain secure management of contracts, licenses, financial records, and regulatory documentation. Operational Excellence Partner with division heads to maximize asset performance and return on invested capital. Monitor financial trends and market dynamics to anticipate risks and create competitive advantage. Guide monthly financial reporting and performance analysis to ensure clarity and accountability. Support operational leaders with sound financial advice to enhance profitability and cost discipline. Leadership & Team Development Lead and develop a high‑performing Finance division, including Procurement and Payroll functions. Build strong, capable, and diverse teams through mentorship, succession planning, and continuous development. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and engagement. Model Rosewood’s vision, mission, and core values at all times. COULD THIS BE YOU? You bring significant senior‑level Finance leadership experience, ideally within luxury hospitality. You demonstrate strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate complex financial data into business insight. You have a solid understanding of hotel accounting systems and financial controls. You possess excellent communication and relationship‑management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. You have deep knowledge of hospitality‑related regulations and financial governance. You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. You are a commercially minded, entrepreneurial thinker who balances precision with agility. You lead with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence.
