The Biology Adjunct Faculty role involves instructing students in both lecture and lab settings, using learner-centered strategies to engage students and promote student success. This position requires a Master's degree or higher in biology or a related discipline, or a Master's degree or higher in a medical or health-related discipline. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the Biology Adjunct Faculty member will be required to lift up to 25 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation. As an adjunct faculty member, they will be expected to contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials, as well as participate in departmental meetings and committee work.
